Jenel Lausa draws second post-UFC boxing match

Pinoy MMA veteran Jenel Lausa draws his second boxing bout since his UFC stint.

“The Demolition Man” heads to his second boxing assignment after his stint inside the Octagon. Lausa draws journeyman Rolly Llino in a supporting bout for GerryPens Promotion’s February 16 event.

Lausa, who fought in a losing cause against Ulka Sasaki at UFC Singapore last June, is coming off a majority draw performance in Laguna last February. As a professional pugilist, the Concepcion, Iloilo-native currently owns a record of seven wins and a draw to his resume. Prior to his UFC stint, he was able to juggle both sports while winning the Pacific Xtreme Combat flyweight belt and the Philippine Boxing Federation title.

He joins the card that will feature former world titleholder Johnriel Casimero, prospect Carl Jammes Martin and Peñalosa cousins Carlo and Dave. The latter headlines the seven-fight card, vying for the vacant WBO Oriental featherweight strap.
